About Love&Luka

Love&Luka Clothing was created from lived experience and a deep understanding of how important comfortable clothing can be for children and also, the people that love them. 

As both a designer and a mother, I experienced firsthand how difficult it was to find clothing my son could comfortably wear. Sensory sensitivities and skin irritations often made even simple tasks like getting dressed stressful and overwhelming. Most available clothing required compromise — choosing comfort over style, or practicality over appearance.

Love&Luka was created to remove that compromise and to provide clothing that eases overwhelm and additional stresses, every day.

With a background in fashion design, garment construction and many years of experience in fashion retail and research, this range was carefully developed to combine thoughtful design with everyday wearability.

Each piece has been created to be visually appealing while also being physically comfortable and suitable for children with sensory sensitivities and sensitive skin. As well as for the children with colour aversions. 

Love&Luka clothing is designed to minimise irritation, reduce stress and make daily routines easier for both children and the people who care for them.

Comfort should never mean compromising on style. Every piece is designed to support confidence, ease and everyday wear, allowing children to feel comfortable, capable and free to enjoy being themselves. Comfortable children play freely, learn freely and are able to focus and pay attention. 

Love&Luka aims to bridge the gap between specialised clothing and mainstream fashion, creating garments that are suitable for all children while thoughtfully supporting those with additional sensory needs. From colour palette, to design, fabric and construction, it's all considered.
